Join us for the Taste of QAGOMA: Tour + Lunch Experience, led by QAGOMA's welcoming and experienced local art guides. Discover Brisbane and Queensland through art, architecture and food.

Starting at the Queensland Art Gallery, you’ll hear the story of the Gallery from its early origins in 1895 to its establishment across two architecturally acclaimed buildings today. Your tour will include fascinating revelations and insights into impressive artworks at the Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), before concluding with a relaxing lunch at GOMA Bistro overlooking the Brisbane River.

Join us for a small-group workshop combining conversation and art-making in a welcoming, supportive gallery environment.
Engaging with art through conversation and making can support wellbeing, connection, and curiosity. This program offers gentle mental stimulation and a chance to connect with others in a meaningful and inclusive way.

To coincide with William Robinson: Lessons in Looking we will delve into Rachel Cusk's acclaimed novel Parade.
From the author of the Outline trilogy, Parade is a bold and original exploration of art, identity and perception. Through a series of interconnected narratives, Cusk follows the artist known as G, whose life and work challenge conventional ideas of selfhood, creativity and storytelling.

About Texta
Texta is a book club for people who love art. Using fiction (mostly), we explore the ideas, emotions and questions raised by art.
Conversations are facilitated by QUT Galleries and Museums Engagement Coordinator Renae Belton and QUT University Librarian Nicole Clark.
Texta is held throughout the year on Tuesday evenings. This title is also available via Audible.
Texta is delivered in partnership with QUT Library and the School of Creative Practice, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.

Take a guided tour of Queensland Museum Kurilpa's crocodile exhibition these school holidays. Led by a Croc Guide, this engaging experience takes you back 130 million years to uncover jaw-dropping insights into ancient SuperCrocs, and crocodiles found around the world today.

Along the way, you’ll learn extra croc facts, stories and special insights into how these remarkable creatures have evolved over time. Designed for families, these tours are suitable for all ages looking for a school holiday adventure.

Only two tours available these holidays. Tour tickets include entry to Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends. Ticketholders are welcome to stay inside the exhibition after the tour ends.

Croc! is presented by Queensland Museum, the Australian National Maritime Museum and the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
