Join us for a special piano and violin concert by Diana Jipa and Stefan Doniga honouring Holocaust survivor Rudolf (Rudi) Pekárek. Rudi and his wife Terry were deported to the Łódź ghetto in 1941 and later to Auschwitz. They rebuilt their life in Australia, with Rudi becoming resident conductor of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in 1954. Through music, we celebrate his resilience and honour the memory of those lost in the Shoah. Ticket includes entry to the museum.
