Join artists and Elders from the Hope Vale Arts and Culture Centre for a hands-on creative workshop responding to the works presented in Gulbuuygu and the extraordinary painted depictions of Guugu Yimithirr Country and its surrounds. Participants are invited to paint their own depiction of home—or a place of special significance—on a tote bag. Using fabric markers and paint, we will come gulbuuygu (together) to create unique artworks that carry personal stories and connections to place.
