ICONS OF BRISBANE

This is the third in our popular seminar series taking a look at individuals who may be considered Brisbane Icons. Under the microscope on 21 June will be an archbishop, a temperance and women’s rights activist, an aviator, a businessman/author/politician/sportsman all rolled into one, and the siblings whose donation 100 years ago facilitated the relocation of one of our tertiary institutions.

Our presenters are Brendan Kelly, Pat Comben, Gerard Benjamin, Ruth Kerr and Stephen Sheaffe.

Registration and book sales are from 12.30pm, the presentations commence at 1pm.

There will be a chance to mingle over a cuppa and biscuits between the first and second session of talks,

When viewed from Gregory Terrace the GT125 Lecture Theatre off Gregory Terrace is to the right of the Chapel.
