Tingalpa Pioneers’ Chapel and Cemetery

Step back in time and visit the wedding chapel of the district’s early settlers situated close by the Gateway motorway on busy Wynnum Road. Spreading Jacaranda trees shade the graves of pioneers and their descendants, dating from 1868 to 2008.

The beautifully restored award-winning Pioneers’ Chapel is available for hire for civil and religious weddings and other ceremonies, with easy parking and disabled access.

The burial register and cemetery plan are available on site and online. There are 300 names listed, with information, to assist family historians. Relatives are welcome to contact the Friends of Tingalpa Pioneers’ Chapel and Cemetery.
