Brisbane Powerhouse is a home for contemporary culture, a magnificent power station of the 1920s reborn as an arts centre on the Brisbane River.
Based in the heart of New Farm, this impressive building is now a cultural landmark recognised and loved for its legacy of heritage-listed graffiti and live performances across genres including music, comedy, dance, film, visual arts, cabaret, circus, theatre, writers+ideas and children’s programming.
Visitors can explore the historic building inside and out, attend live performances, discover works of art and relax at the waterside restaurants and bars.
