The exhibition covers the many aspects of his life as an athelete , businessman, fisherman, and historian. He bequeathed his magnificent library to the Royal Historical Society of Queensland. His interests in the Brisbane Gymnasium, Royal Queensland Yacht Club, Rugby Union and a passion for St. Helena Island.
The display includes some of his scrapbooks, photos, letters and books. A water colour of his home “Amity” at New Farm has been beautifully restored fo the exhibition by Graeme Nicholson.
Cost: Free – Cost included in entry fee to Museum $5 adults. Children and Seniors $2.50 per person. Times: Tuesday to Friday -10am to 4 pm (closed Sat, Sun and Monday)
