Pine Rivers Heritage Museum

The Pine Rivers Shire, just north of Brisbane has a rich and varied history. The Pine Rivers Heritage Museum presents the stories of our earliest Indigenous inhabitants, European settlers from the 19th Centuary and the people of Pine Rivers today.

Set amongst the heritage landscape of Old Petrie Town, the museum recounts the area's significance in farming, timber-getting, as a coaching stop for the Co & Co, and the site of "Camp Strathpine" home to the American Soilders during World War II.

An ever-changing program of special and travelling exhibitions complements our permanent display.
