Visitors to the beautifully restored Customs House marvel at this wonderful example of neo-classical architecture - a rare surviving masterpiece of the Colonial Architects Office. As you absorb the history, style and grandeur of the building, your every sense will be stimulated by a presence of the past. As a visitor, for business, education, music, art, entertainment, or as a curious sightseer, you will enjoy the splendour of this magnificent building's origins.

Customs House has a restaurant and function rooms available for private and corporate use.

Customs House is a cultural, educational and heritage facility of The University of Queensland.

Guided Tours & Sunday Concerts

The UQ School of Music offers free concerts in The Long Room on a number of Sundays throughout the year. Free guided tours of the building operate on concert days between 10am and 4pm. Refer to the website for concert details.
