Logan Historical Museum Society

The Logan Historical museum is situated in the Kingston Butter Factory. The factory began operation as the Southern Queensland Co-operative Dairy Company in 1907. The factory continually expanded and was completely rebuilt in 1932. It remained operational until 1983.

Bicentenary funding allowed Logan City Council to redevelop the site as a community arts centre, which included the museum. The museum contains a comprehensive collection documenting the local dairy industry, as well as the history of the area.
