Opened to the public in late October 2003, the Museum of Brisbane (MoB) is a vibrant cultural venue which showcases a blend of social history, visual art, craft and design in a constantly changing range of exhibitions.
Located in the heart of the city, this social history museum features a range of exhibits which celebrate Brisbane's contemporary culture as well as its heritage and people. MoB explores ideas, stories and issues which recall Brisbane's past, investigates the present and help us to imagine the city's future.

While City Hall is closed for extensive restoration, MoB has taken up residence at 157 Ann Street, just around the corner from King George Square.
